What is Who Sent That?

Who Sent That is an interactive eCard maker. You design a personalised eCard for any occasion (birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, graduations, Christmas, and many more), add a message, colours, a photo, and optional music or a voice clip. Then you choose how the eCard opens: the recipient performs an interactive reveal (blowing out candles, clinking glasses, tracing a heart, popping balloons, and more) before your message appears. It's fully digital and instant, shared by a link over WhatsApp, SMS, or email, with no printing, postage, or waiting.

What makes these eCards 'interactive'?

Unlike a normal eCard, your message stays sealed until the recipient does something with their own hands to open it. You choose what that something is. A birthday might open by blowing out candles, a Valentine by tracing a heart, a Christmas eCard by ringing a bell. That small, playful gesture turns a quick message into a moment they actually remember.

How do I create an interactive eCard?

Pick an occasion on the home page, personalise it in the builder (your message, colours, an optional photo, and optional music or voice), choose the reveal interaction, then preview it exactly as your recipient will see it. When you're happy, send it and we'll generate your private shareable link.

Do I need an account to make an eCard?

No account is required. You build your eCard, pay (or use your subscription email), and receive your shareable link by email. No sign-up needed.

What occasions can I make eCards for?

We offer eCards for a wide range of occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, engagements, baby announcements, Valentine's Day, love, friendship, thank you, congratulations, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, New Year, Easter, Thanksgiving, Eid, Diwali, graduation, retirement, get well soon, thinking of you, and sympathy, and many more. Personalising your eCard

Can I choose how the eCard opens?

Yes, this is the heart of Who Sent That. Most occasions offer several reveal interactions, and you pick the one your recipient performs to unwrap your message. A birthday can open by blowing out candles or cutting the cake; a Valentine by tracing a heart, blowing a kiss, or answering a sweet question; Christmas by ringing a bell, decorating the tree, or building a snowman. You're choosing the moment that brightens their day before they've read a word.

Can I add a photo or stickers to my eCard?

Yes. You can upload a photo while building your eCard, so the moment feels unmistakably yours. Images are optimised automatically so the eCard loads quickly for the recipient. If you'd rather not add a photo, you can also drop in one of our thoughtful premade stickers to decorate your eCard.

Can I add music or a voice message?

Yes. You can attach an optional audio clip (a song or a recorded voice message) that plays as part of the eCard experience. It's a lovely way to say something a written note can't.

Can I change the colours and look of the eCard?

Yes. Each eCard comes with a curated colour palette you can choose from, and many occasions include decorative stickers, so your eCard feels personal rather than templated.

Will my eCard work on phones?

Yes. Every eCard is designed to feel as intentional on a phone screen as it does on a desktop, and works in any modern web browser without installing anything.

Can I edit my eCard after I've paid?

If you need a change after purchase, reach out through the support page with the email you used at checkout and describe what you'd like updated, and we'll help where we can.

Sending & delivery

How do I send my eCard?

Everything is digital and instant, there's nothing to print or post. When you check out you choose how it's delivered: get a private shareable link to send yourself over WhatsApp, SMS, or any app; have us email the eCard straight to your recipient right away; or schedule it to arrive on a future date. You can mix and match, for example schedule it and still share the link yourself.

Can I schedule an eCard for a future date?

Yes. Choose 'Schedule' at checkout and pick the date. We'll email the eCard to your recipient on that day (in the morning, in their local time), so it lands right when the occasion arrives. No need to remember on the day itself.

How do I share my eCard link?

After checkout you receive a unique link. Copy it and send it however you like: text message (SMS), email, WhatsApp, or any social app. Anyone who opens the link sees the full interactive eCard instantly; no app or account is needed to view it.

Does the recipient need an account or app to open it?

No. They simply tap the link and the eCard opens in their browser. There's nothing to install, sign up for, or pay.

Is my eCard link private?

Yes. Each link uses a long, randomly generated code that can't be guessed, so only people you send it to can open your eCard. The eCard is never shown publicly or listed anywhere on the site.

Does my eCard link expire? Can the recipient revisit it?

Your eCard stays available at its link so the recipient can return to the moment whenever they like. We intend to keep eCard links working indefinitely, and we guarantee yours will stay live for at least a year from the day you send it. If you ever can't reach an eCard you paid for, let us know through the support page and we'll sort it out.

Why can't I share the preview?

The preview lives only in your browser while you build the eCard, so there's no link to share yet. This also means we never store the photos or audio of eCards that aren't sent. A real, shareable link is created only after checkout.

My shareable link isn't working. How do I fix it?

First make sure you copied the entire link. If it still won't open, contact us through the support page and choose "Shareable link issue". Include the email you used at checkout so we can find your eCard and send a fresh link.

Payments & pricing

How much does an eCard cost?

You build and preview your entire eCard for free. You only pay when you're ready to send. Each eCard is a simple one-time payment, with the exact price shown in the builder and again at checkout before you pay. Prices are charged in your local currency where supported.

Is there an unlimited or subscription option?

Yes. Alongside paying per eCard, we offer a yearly subscription: pay once and send as many interactive eCards as you like for the next 12 months, with no per-send charge. It's the best value if you send eCards regularly. You can choose it at checkout, or start one on the subscribe page. Unlimited really does mean unlimited for normal personal use. A fair-usage policy applies only to guard against automated, bulk, or commercial abuse, which we assess reasonably at our discretion.

How does the yearly subscription work?

The subscription is tied to your email address and lasts 12 months. Once it's active, you send unlimited eCards without paying each time. It renews automatically each year so you're never interrupted, and you can cancel anytime. After cancelling you keep your unlimited sends until the period you've already paid for ends.

How do I use my subscription when sending an eCard?

Just use the same email address you subscribed with when you reach checkout. We'll recognise the active subscription automatically and skip the payment step, so your eCard is created right away.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Contact us through the support page with the email you subscribed with and we'll cancel your renewal. You'll keep unlimited sends until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

How do I pay for my eCard?

Single eCards are handled securely through PayPal. You can pay with your PayPal balance or any major credit/debit card through PayPal's checkout, and Pay Later or Venmo where available. Apple Pay and Google Pay appear automatically on supported devices. Subscriptions are handled securely through Stripe. We never see or store your full payment card details.

I paid but didn't get my eCard link. What should I do?

Your shareable link is created the moment your payment is confirmed and emailed to you. Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, contact us through the support page, choose "Payment issue", and include the email you used at checkout so we can resend it.

Can I get a refund?

Because each eCard is generated and delivered instantly after payment, get in touch through the support page if something went wrong with your order and we'll do our best to help.

Reminders

Can I set reminders for important dates and occasions?

Yes, and it's free. Set a yearly reminder for any important date and we'll email you in time to send an eCard, every year, until you cancel. No account or password needed. Just tap 'Set a reminder' in the menu to open the reminder form.

Privacy & support

What personal information do you collect?

We collect the details needed to build and deliver your eCard, such as your name, email address, your recipient's email (if you ask us to send or schedule it), and the content you add. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

What happens to my photo and audio if I don't buy the eCard?

Nothing is stored. While you're building an eCard the content lives only in your browser; we only save and host your photo, audio, and message once you complete checkout and a shareable eCard is created.
